Chia seeds must be soaked before being eaten. If you want the full benefit, you'll need to grind them first, then soak. I love the bubbly texture, so I leave them whole for this recipe, but try both and see what you prefer!

Ingredients
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 cup unsweetened plant milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon date syrup
Fruit and berries of choice
Instructions
Whisk chia seeds, milk, vanilla, and date syrup in a medium sized bowl.
Refrigerate for at least an hour (stirring occasionally).
Layer with your favorite berries and/or slices of fruit.
Recommendations: bananas, mango, peaches, blueberries, raspberries, . . .
