Not a big fan of chickpeas, but want the gloriousness of hummus? Try different kinds of beans! Here is a velvety smooth white bean hummus that you can get creative with!

Ingredients

  • 1 – 15 oz can white beans

  • 2 tablespoons tahini

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper

  • ¼ cup liquid (aqua faba, water, or unsweetened plant milk)

1. Drain and rinse cannellini beans (reserve some of the bean water).

2. To a food processor, add all ingredients except ¼ cup liquid. Blend well.

3. Check consistency. If too thick add a tablespoon of liquid and blend again. Repeat until desired consistency is reached.

4. This base is delicious but remember that you can create a myriad of flavor combinations from here!
